Where challenge sparked ambition and pride transformed into style, Velour Royalty was born.
I came into the world in 1985, in Newham London’s East End at its rawest. The streets were loud, unpolished, and unforgiving, but they taught me grit. My West Indian heritage gave me balance: warmth, dignity, and a quiet kind of power. Together, they shaped not just who I am, but the foundation of this brand.
Velour Royalty was created to honour my parents, their love, their strength, their elegance. Every stitch carries a piece of them. This brand is my tribute, my legacy, and my reminder that from Hardship comes from heritage, and from roots, we rise royal.
A Legacy Carved by Love & Strength
My father came from the lush hills of Westmoreland, Jamaica a place rich with rhythm, courage, and golden light. My mother was born in the UK but carries the deep pride of her parents from Calibishie, Dominica, where mountains meet the sea and strength lives in every breath.
From them, I inherited more than culture.
I inherited resilience.
I inherited grace.
I inherited the belief that no matter your beginning,
you can walk like royalty.
Velour Royalty is the embodiment of that belief.
It’s for the dreamers with modest beginnings.
It’s for the ones who learned to stand tall in tough environments.
It’s for those who honour their past but aim higher than their circumstances.
This isn’t just a clothing brand.
It’s a declaration.
A reminder that your heritage is power.
Your story is style.
And no matter where you start
you rise royal.
